Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Beirut and Transfer to the Bekaa Valley
  • Arrival at Beirut
  • Morning / Afternoon exploring the city depending on flight times
  • Dinner and overnight near Beirut

Day 2 - Niha Temples and Hadaranes
  • Morning visit to the Niha Temple complex
  • Follow the ancient route linking Niha to Hadaranes & Qsarnaba
  • Afternoon transfer to Baalbek
  • Dinner and overnight near Baalbek

Day 3 - Baalbek and Hajjar al Hibla
  • Morning visit to Baalbek
  • Explore the Temple of Jupiter, Temple of Bacchus, and surrounding structures
  • Visit Hajjar al Hibla quarry site and view the largest stone ever quarried
  • Afternoon at leisure 
  • Dinner and overnight near Baalbek

Day 4 - Return to Beirut
  • Breakfast in the Bekaa Valley
  • Visit to some local waterfalls & viewpoints on the way back
  • Drive back to Beirut
  • Transfers back to the airport dependant on flight times

Highlights

  • Sacred Mountain Sanctuaries – Visit remote Roman temple sites including Hosn Niha, the Niha Temple complex, and Hadaranes, set high in the Bekaa Valley and connected by ancient routes across the landscape.
  • Stones Beyond Scale – See Hajjar al Hibla, one of the largest stones ever quarried, alongside Baalbek’s monumental foundations, offering a rare look at ancient stone cutting and construction on an almost unimaginable scale.
