POV Travel – Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking or using POV Travel’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services Provided

POV Travel offers:

  • Group Tours – Pre-arranged travel itineraries with set dates and group sizes.

  • Custom Tours – Tailored travel arrangements based on your preferences.

  • Flight Help – Assistance with cancellations, rebookings, and compensation claims.

3. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed only after full payment or a non-refundable deposit is received.

  • Final payment is due as specified in your booking confirmation (60 days before departure).

  • Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without refund.

4. Our Role & Liability

  • We act as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, local operators).

  • All services are subject to the terms and conditions of those providers.

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays, cancellations, or changes by third parties.

  • Illness, injury, death, or loss of property.

  • Missed connections or travel disruptions.

  • Acts of nature, political events, pandemics, or force majeure events.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Ensure you have valid travel documents, visas, and required vaccinations.

  • Comply with local laws, customs, and cultural norms.

  • Take personal responsibility for your safety, comfort, and behaviour during the trip.

  • Have adequate travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

  • Arrive at all departure points on time.

Cultural Awareness:
You acknowledge that some destinations may involve unfamiliar social norms, including increased attention from locals. By booking, you accept responsibility for your personal comfort in such environments.

6. Accommodation Policy

  • Accommodation arrangements (including room sharing) are fixed prior to departure.

  • Private rooms must be requested and confirmed at the time of booking.

  • Changes during the trip are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and additional cost.

  • POV Travel is not responsible for discomfort arising from shared accommodation arrangements.

7. Itinerary & Group Conduct

  • All itineraries, accommodations, and logistics are managed at the discretion of POV Travel.

  • No individual participant may demand changes that affect the group.

  • We reserve the right to make reasonable changes where necessary for safety, logistics, or operational reasons.

Behaviour Clause:
We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour (without refund) if their behaviour:

  • Disrupts the group experience

  • Causes distress to others

  • Creates safety concerns

8. Changes & Cancellations

  • Any changes to your booking must be requested in writing.

  • All cancellations are subject to our Refund Policy.

  • Additional costs incurred due to personal requests (e.g., room upgrades, itinerary deviations) must be paid by the customer.

9. Flight Help Disclaimer

  • We do not guarantee successful flight changes, refunds, or compensation.

  • Our advice is based on publicly available airline policies.

  • Airlines have final decision-making authority.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform services due to events beyond our control.
