Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Aswan

Arrive in Aswan and transfer to your hotel

Time to rest after your journey and settle into Egypt
-
Dinner and overnight in Aswan
Day 2 – Exploring Aswan & The Unfinished Obelisk
-
Our first stop will be the mysterious, massive red granite boxes of Elephantine Island located in what's known as the 'Granite Graveyard'
-
An afternoon visit to the 1200 tonne unfinished Obelisk which would have stood at a huge 42 metres tall
-
Late afternnon free time with dinner and overnight in Aswan
Day 3 – Aswan to Luxor
-
After breakfast, we'll head in the direction of Luxor with a few stops along the way
-
Our first stop will be Kom Ombo Temple - A Riverside Ptolemaic-era temple, known for its unique double structure & mummified sacred crocodiles
-
After a few hours exploring Kom Ombo Temple, we will have an hours drive north and arrive at Edfu Temple - a well preserved Ptolemaic temple with bas relief sculptures, a granite shrine and a Horus statue

The final few hours driving to our hotel in Luxor

Dinner and overnight on the West Bank of Luxor
Day 4 – Luxor: Valley of the Kings, Great Temples & Total Solar Eclipse (2 Aug 2027)

Morning visit to the Valley of the Kings, including selected royal tombs
-
Study ancient burial practices, symbolism, and beliefs around the afterlife
-
Late morning and early afternoon visit to Luxor Temple, the largest religious complex ever built
-
Afternoon visit to KarnakTemple, linked to ceremonial processions and sacred alignment
-
Dinner and overnight in Luxor

Day 5 – From Luxor to Giza - Incl. Dendera & Abydos

Early departure from Luxor by road with our first stop after 1 hour at Dendera Temple, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt
-
Explore its astronomical ceiling, sacred crypts, and enigmatic reliefs
-
Continue to Abydos, Egypt’s most sacred ancient pilgrimage site
-
Visit the Temple of Seti I and the Osireion with its massive megalithic blocks
-
Continuing with the drive to Giza - Approx 7 Hours

Late arrival in Giza with a dinner stop along the way
Day 6 – The Pyramids of Giza

Morning visit to the Giza Plateau

Explore the Great Pyramid, Khafre, and Menkaure complexes
-
In-depth discussion on construction techniques, alignment, and engineering precision

Visit the Sphinx and surrounding temples

Optional pyramid interior entry

Afternoon at leisure or optional visit to Saqqara

Dinner and overnight in Giza
Day 7 – The Grand Egyptian Museum & Our Farewell to Egypt

Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum

Focus on key artifacts including royal mummies, precision stonework, and anomalous objects

Discussion on symbolism, lost knowledge theories, and ancient technology

Free afternoon for exploration or rest

Farewell group dinner in Giza
