Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe

Arrive in Uganda and meet your expedition leader before transferring to your accommodation near Lake Victoria. Following an expedition briefing, prepare for an unforgettable week exploring one of Africa's most biodiverse countries.

Day 2 – Shoebill Search & Murchison Falls

Begin the expedition with an early morning boat excursion through Uganda's papyrus wetlands in search of the elusive shoebill stork. Continue north to Murchison Falls National Park where the River Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically below.

Day 3 – Safari & The Nile

Explore Uganda's largest national park on a morning safari before enjoying a boat cruise along the River Nile. Search for elephants, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, antelope and one of Africa's richest collections of birdlife.

Day 4 – Journey to Bwindi

Travel through western Uganda towards the mist covered mountains of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, experience Uganda's changing landscapes before arriving at one of Africa's oldest rainforests.

Day 5 – Mountain Gorilla Tracking

Today's expedition centres around one of the world's greatest wildlife experiences. Trek through dense rainforest with expert rangers before spending an unforgettable hour observing a habituated mountain gorilla family in their natural habitat.

Day 6 – Kibale Forest & Chimpanzees

Day 7 – Return to Entebbe
